Carole A. Rubin received a B.A., summa cum laude, from Connecticut College, and a M.A. in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from The Washington College of Law at American University in 2005, and was admitted to the Order of the Coif. Carole was a staff member of the American University Journal of Gender, Social Policy & the Law, and also represented low-income clients in family law cases as a student-attorney in American University's Civil Practice Clinic.

Carole is a member of the Virginia State Bar, Fairfax Bar Association, Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and the Virginia Women Attorneys Association. She also serves as a Director of the Board of the Northern Virginia Ethical Society.
