Kelly M. Juhl received a B.A. from The Pennsylvania State University, and a J.D. from The University of Pittsburgh School of Law. She represented clients in family law cases as a student-attorney in one of The University of Pittsburgh's civil practice clinics.

Kelly is an active member of the Virginia State Bar, Fairfax Bar Association, Virginia Women Attorneys Association, and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. Currently, Kelly is chair of the Judicial Committee for the Virginia Women Attorneys Association, Northern Virginia Chapter, and a member of the Publications Committee for the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.
