Kim K. Huguley received a B.A. magna cum laude from the University of Alabama; an M.S. from Florida State University; and a J.D. from George Mason University School of Law, where she was a member of the editorial board of the George Mason Law Review.

Kim served as clerk to the Honorable Jane Marum Roush of the Circuit Court of Fairfax County, Virginia, from 1999-2000. Following her clerkship, Kim was an attorney with The Susan Hicks Group and an adjunct professor at George Mason University School of Law. She moved to Tennessee in 2006, where she continued practicing family law as an of counsel member of The Susan Hicks Group and with a family law firm in Tennessee. In 2013, Kim returned to Northern Virginia and The Susan Hicks Group.
