Joshua Peterson received a B.A. in Public Policy from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill and a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School. During law school, Joshua was a member of the International Law Review and participant on the Mock Trial Board. He also interned with the DC Superior Court Domestic Violence Unit and was a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Craig Iscoe of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.

Upon Graduating law school, Joshua served as the Dunn-Chadwick Domestic Violence and Family Law Fellow with Legal Services of Northern Virginia where he represented clients in custody, visitation, support and protective order cases and litigated numerous matters in Fairfax County courts.

Joshua is a member of the Virginia State Bar, Fairfax Bar Association, and Virginia Equality Bar Association.
